Tony Chittenden, who lives in Kingston upon Thames, is celebrating his upcoming birthday with a long weekend of celebrations, including a pub crawl around Camden, a day relaxing in Hyde Park and a day of museums and drinking. Tony, who is apparently known by his colleagues as “the corporate goth time-lord” said: “You wouldn't guess I work in finance, but appearances can be deceiving. I tone it down a bit for work but they do let me get away with a lot.” The 27-year-old is wearing 1890's cavalry boots from a re-enactment firm in America, patterned black trousers from a website called The Dark Angel, a waistcoat from Chicago (“It cost a lot, but sometimes you just have to do it”), a red shirt from Next, and a long jacket from a bargain boot fair, which he got for about £30, only to later realise was worth about £200.

Rudy Adelaide, a student from Victoria, has prepared for the sun with a pair of vintage cats-eye shades from Rokit in Brick Lane. The 21-year-old, who also works at Lock 17 in Camden Town, stands out thanks to her bright, summery crop top with aztec prints from Missguided – she said: “If you go near UV lights it actually goes neon.” She is wearing the statement Tee with some high-waisted Joni jeans and a pair of little red boots from Topshop.

Sharon Dhaliwal, 22, a law student from Malaysia studying in the UK, is dressed in a floaty printed top, light blue jeans from Zara, a hat from Primark, and carries a black fringed bag. The 22-year-old who lives in Hertfordshire said: “Camden really feels like my style, I’m into grungy street wear… it’s hobo chic.”

Aya Yasumulra, originally from Japan, is wearing vintage black and white print dress, some 1990’s Vivienne Westwood boots and a top hat from a street market with home-made add-ons. Aya, a button artist who lives in Bethnal Green, makes accessories like the ones attached to her fabulous top hat. She enjoys scouring vintage shops for original pieces, and is out exploring Camden Market today.

Jacqueline Fegan, 43, who works for the civil service, is dressed for the sunny weather as she soaks up the atmosphere in Camden Town and has "a mooch around the market" with friends. The south Londoner is wearing a Bettie Page 1950's style dress that she bought in Las Vegas, accessorised with red flowers in her hair, black wedge sandals and a little black bag. Jacqueline said she has recently started experimenting with the vintage, rockabilly style.

Brazilian model Gizele Oliveira, 21, was spotted out and about for a spot of shopping in Camden Town. The glam girl, who has previously appeared on covers of fashion magazines, says she has dressed down today in a black Topman Tee, with trousers and shoes from Primark, along with a necklace from H&M, an Urban Outfitters bag, and a Forever 21 Micky Mouse jacket. Gizele, who is currently in London to model for ASOS, said: "Today I felt like no fashion so I'm wearing this".
